Bigotry and Derby City Council

'Derby City Museums Celebrate LGBT History Month

To celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History month, Derby Museums invite you to join a discussion about how museums and their collections represent sexuality. Assistant Director Jonathan Wallis will begin by looking at the ways in which museums have or have not addressed this issue. There will be an opportunity to suggest ways in which the diverse histories of LGBT experience can or should be represented by our own museums and galleries'

This quote is from the www.derby.gov.uk website. It may shed some light on why Derby City Council fostering panel rejected a Christian couple's application to foster because they would not be able to promote homosexuality.

I have no axe to grind with any member of the LGBT community but I do wonder if Derby City Council would demand that a LGBT couple promote heterosexuality, Christianity or anything else that they don't agree with to their little charge. just to please a bunch of PC sycophants.

Shame on anyone from the LGBT community who accept being used in this way and shame on anyone from any community that sees this as anything else but oppression and bigotry.

To make a complanint, go to the Derby City Council website www.derby.gov.uk then follow the links from the Council, Government and Democracy heading. Complaints can be made online and if no satisfaction is received, then the matter can be referred to the local government Ombudsman.

A Kosovan Kriminal

By now, I'm sure you all know that Kosovo is to be given independent status, yet the media have given little attention to their new leader, a chap called Hashim Thaci.

Mr Thaci has an interesting background considering how he is being currently feted by good old Britain, the US and so on. Thaçi became a founding member of the People's Movement of Kosovo (LPK), which was (no surprise here)a Marxist-Leninist political party in Kosovo ostensibly committed to unifying all Albanian-populated areas into one state.

Hashim Thaci also had some other interesting hobbies and, allegedly, founded the "Drenica-Group", an underground organization that is estimated to have controlled between 10% and 15% of all criminal activities in Kosovo smuggling arms, stolen cars, oil, cigarettes and prostitution.

Now this is starting to sound all too familiar. We have our own terrorist run state in Northern Ireland and now Kosovo has its own too. I can see why countries with seperatist movements, such as Spain, are refusing to recognise Kosovan Independence.
However, the more frightening aspect of Kosovo and Northern Ireland is that our own, 'democratic' government, and the 'democratic' US government have been complicit in helping terrorists to power. Far from the War on Terror it seems to be more a War on Democracy with a respectable front kept up for Joe Public whilst behind the scenes Marxist/terrorist groups are helped into power.

The Serbian President has warned that recognising Kosovan independence could result in 'the escalation of many existing conflicts, the reactivation of a number of frozen conflicts, and the instigation of many new conflicts'. If this is the case then we can expect another Iraq on our hands. Surely this cannot be what the British government wants?

An end to Law and Order

A review of the future of policing reportedly suggests that only about 10% of police tasks actually require trained police officer quoting, for example, that taking statements from witnesses could be done 'more effectively'by civilians.

Now, call me cynical, but this does just happen to come at a time when the government have locked horns with the police over pay. Of course this new government analysis may not be linked to Browns hatred of anyone wanting to risk their lives for Britain and perhaps get enough money to live on in return. However the last ten years of policing strategy has resulted in a widespread breakdown in law and order with youth shootings all over the country accepted as everyday events where once this would have shocked. We are constantly told our youth are crime ridden binge drinkers and the prison population is now so bloated that, in the absence of anywhere else to put offender, they are released early back into the community
to continue re-offending.

What this government is suggesting is that the British people will be left without any protection from criminal activity. We are already under- policed as ill-trained PCSOs take the place of our bobbies but under this scheme even they will be replaced by someone only trained to push a pen and not to stop shootings in Peckham.

Anybody reading this article should make active protest. This can be done by writing to the newspapers, teletext, MPs, local protest groups and to the police themselves. Organise protest and petitions in your local areas and tell your local politicians you will vote for them if they protest with you.

I shall certainly be actively protesting in all the above ways but if we fail to stop this latest de-construction of Britain then we will only have ourselves to blame when there is no law and order left.

Another Fine Mess

Housing Minister Caroline Flint has suggested that new council tenants could have to sign a ‘commitment contract’ committing them to look for employment, in order to access housing, and will eventually be extended to all council tenants.

Does she not realise that not every council tenant is a hoodie, that not every privately owened or rented property is a palace with genteel residents? No, of course she doesn’t realise. New Labour have long seen off anyone who displays principles, brains and an interest in the welfare of the British people. Which is probably why this scheme seems even more ill thought out than all those other schemes that New Labour have come up with (remember the ‘frogmarching criminals to cash machines to pay fines’ great idea?).

So, the tenant signs their commitment contract, breaks it and then what? No suggestions from Miss Flint. Perhaps she intends that anyone not getting a job is evicted. Perhaps she intends to cut benefits, which would undoubtedly lead to………….well eviction due to non payment of rent. Perhaps she could explain how , exactly, will making the jobless homeless, help them back to gainful employment?. Perhaps she intends to put support programmes in place, but that has all been done before and to no avail.

Or perhaps Miss Flint reveals the true Labour policy, and that is to leave all the jobless on benefit whilst driving down wages with immigrant labour. Of course, they are required to pretend to be working in the interests of the British people so need to give a placatory policy or two to show how they are tackling crime (by replacing bobbies with ill trained PCSOs), tackling feckless joblessness (evict them) and saving the NHS (by reducing the number of nurses and doctors).

‘Britain deserves better’ was the Labour Party slogan for the 1997 General Election. Another failed policy then.

CRE versus IRA

Can someone explain why there is an outcry about bugging conversations of a man currently held in prison on terrorism charges.

The security services are here (ostensibily at least) for our protection and if an MP, elected to do his best for the people of Britain, is visiting a suspected terrorist then our security services need to know, even if it is just to ascertain the innocent nature of the visit.

I would hope that the security services similarly bugged Bush and Blair when they were courting the IRA terrorists Adams and MacGuinness but it is doubtful. It seems it was ok for the Irish Republicans to murder innocent British people but beyond the pale for Islamist fundamentalists to do so.

Perhaps the CRE would care to investigate?

Blogging as an alternative medium

Like many people in Britain I am concerned about the decline of our political system into a corrupt region of the EU, not allowed a national identity and indeed, risking villification should we try to assert one.
The BBC has just taken out £141 million in loans from the European Investment Bank' which describes itself as 'promoting european objectives' leaving the BBC in a position where, if it reports news impartially and without a pre-EU bias it could have its loans removed or interest rates increased, or, the more likely situation is that it will cease to report impartially and promote EU objectives in line with the philosophy of its backers. Other established media are just as open to bias as they are also funded by non impartial backers who demand their own interpretations of news.
Just as the established political parties are singing to the same same hymn sheet so are the established media outlets, so it is now necessary to find other outlets in order to reach the public.
So, this blog is my alternative media and will contain a varity of articles on any subject with an overarching theme of how we can change Britian. We need a new philosophy and outlook if Britain is to survive the attempts by the established parties to destroy it and above all we need to inform the public.
This blog will be my own contribution to do just that.
